From the Journals
Authors are encouraged to send their work to SIAM’s newest journal, currently publishing to Volume 2, research papers on the development of algebraic, geometric, and topological methods with strong connection to applications. SIAGA seeks submissions. Further details are available here.
Join our international community of over 14,000 individual members including applied and computational mathematicians, computer scientists, and other scientists and engineers. Members are researchers, educators, students and practitioners from 100 countries who are working in industry, government, laboratories, and in academia.|
March 7 – 10, 2018
Tokyo, Japan --
The conference is unique in its emphasis on the intersection between high performance scientific computing and scalable algorithms, architectures, and software. The conference provides a forum for communication among the applied mathematics, computer science, and computational science and engineering communities.
Andrew Sparks, United Technologies Research Center, USA, spoke at the 2017 Conference on Control and Its Applications on
Mathematical Challenges in Control of Large-Scale Complex Systems. The talk presented some motivating examples of large-scale, complex systems and some interesting results on approaches to decomposition and control. This talk is available online along with more presentations from this conference and other SIAM meetings at SIAM Presents.|
